Questions & Answers

Frequently asked questions about our chipstack hosting plans.

1. What roaming options are available for shared tenancy?

We offer roaming capabilities with the Helium network and packetbroker.net, and we're actively exploring partnerships to expand our roaming options. You can choose between shared private tenancy or shared public tenancy with roaming enabled through Helium and PacketBroker.net.

2. What distinguishes standard support from priority support?

Standard support includes access to our knowledge base and email support with a 24-hour response time. Priority support, on the other hand, grants you expedited service, 24/7 availability, and direct access to senior technicians for more critical issues.

3. What is the cost for Helium Data Credits?

We charge a nominal fee of $0.00001 per Helium data credit. This is billed on a monthly basis via invoice.

4. Is it possible to use a custom NetID?

Custom NetIDs are not available in our shared tenancy plans. However, they can be configured in our dedicated and on-premise offerings.

5. Where are your servers located?

Our shared tenancy servers are primarily hosted in Ireland, with ingest routes available across the U.S., Europe, and Asia. If you opt for a dedicated package, server hosting can be customized to a region of your choice.

6. Can I access ChirpStack via API?

Absolutely, ChirpStack provides comprehensive API support. You can interact programmatically using either gRPC for high-performance, real-time applications or REST APIs for easier integration with web-based systems.
